POSTPONED: NEW SUPPER CLUB LAUNCHES FOR HALF-TERM BREAK!

Due to the new Scottish Government restrictions we are currently postpoining our new Supper Club - we will announce when we will run it in the future in due course.

As schools across Scotland enter their half-term break this October, we're deighted to be doing its bit to give mum’s and dad’s a break from the kitchen by launching a new Supper Club!  Offering seasonal, homely dishes, our team will offer two early evening sittings, ideal for families and friends to come together and socialise in a safe environment.

As the autumn days turn cooler, the new Supper Club puts tasty autumnal dishes at the heart of our menu, with main courses including a fish pie with mashed potato and free range egg crumble, Scotch steak and ale puff pastry pie, Shepherd’s Pie, Butchers Sausage & Onion casserole with mashed potato topping, Quorn mince & sweet potato topped pie (vegan) and Macaroni cheese with breadcrumbs and cheese crust (vegetarian).

Guests will choose a starter, a delicious main, a side and a dessert, for the inclusive price of £20 pp (£12 for under 12’s).  Starters include a tasty soup of the day, haggis spring roll with clapshot and a grain mustard sauce and a garlic bread bruschetta.

Commenting on the launch of the Supper Club our Director Chris Davidson said:

“This has been an extremely challenging year for families, and we’ve been delighted to welcome so many to the Bistro over the summer.  Our new Supper Club has been designed to give mum and dad a break from cooking for a night during half-term; and an opportunity to meet up with another household for an early evening of socialising.

Half-term is a great opportunity to spend extra time together and our menu has been designed to ensure a healthy and wholesome meal for the whole family; with a sweet treat of course added in! 

Desserts include Bread & Butter pudding with vanilla custard, chocolate fudge cake with Chantilly cream, warm apple & bramble crumble & vanilla ice cream or Luca’s ice cream.

We hope the Supper Club appeals to lots of families with young children, and are offering two daily sittings, at 4 pm and 6 pm from Monday 19th October.  Table reservations are recommended, and guests can choose from an indoor table, or outdoor seating with eco-friendly outdoor heating available.
